Running 10K for my close family and friends🤍

Last year, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer annd underwent treatment and my best friends mum is currently going through chemo. Cancer is something that has touched my family more than once, as over the years I’ve also watched both of my uncles go through their own cancer diagnoses. 

Cancer has also affected so many other people close to me, with family members and friends either receiving a diagnosis themselves or supporting someone they love through one. 

Seeing first-hand the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on individuals and their families has made this cause incredibly close to my heart.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m really not a runner, so taking on a 10K is going to be a huge challenge for me!

But the challenge of running 10K is nothing compared to the strength, courage and resilience people show every single day while facing cancer and everything that comes with it.

If putting myself through a few tough miles can help raise money for Cancer Research UK and make even the smallest difference, then every step will be worth it. ❤️

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2027.
