Running for Cancer Research UK – and for My Mum

When I started running a few months ago, I could barely keep going for a few minutes. But week after week, step by step, I found something powerful in the rhythm — a sense of focus, calm, and purpose.
In February 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. It’s both exciting and emotional — this challenge means far more than just a number on my watch.
London will be a special backdrop for this milestone. It was the first city we lived in after moving to the UK, and it’s still where I go to work. Running through its streets will feel like coming full circle — a celebration of how far life has brought me.
But this race isn’t just about running. I recently lost my mum to cancer, and this run is my way of honouring her memory — and of giving something back. By supporting Cancer Research UK, I hope to help fund the research that could save more lives and give more families more time together.
Every kilometre I run, every drop of sweat, and every donation made to my page is part of that mission.

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.
Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 15th February 2026.
Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.
Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.
