We hate to brag, but we’ve excelled ourselves with the 2022 medal, which is the perfect addition to anybody’s collection. After completing your training and 10k run you will truly deserve this magnificently shiny beauty. Each runner will be awarded one as they cross the finish line on Whitehall.

Rocking LIVE music

Our runners regularly tell us they love the live music played around the course, and we’ll be putting on more than ever in February. Expect a mix of choirs, rock acts, drums and much more. We’ll be sharing more details soon!

Our new state-of-the-art technology will for the first time give you the ability to log every training run as you prepare for the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. Even better you will unlock a variety of badges as you hit new distance goals.

Plus following the huge success of the 2021 Virtual Winter Run, which saw over 5,000 items posted out for free, we are bringing fundraising rewards to everybody in the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. Positioned around the halfway mark to lift your spirits, you may even want to stop to have a boogie with them, but remember to reserve some energy for the rest of your run!

Have you ever run through the closed streets of London? It’s a very special experience. From St Paul’s Cathedral to Nelson’s Column, it’s hard to go a few paces without passing a historic location. It’s like jumping on an open-top bus tour without the traffic!
