10K Winter Run complete! I’m so proud to say I achieved a personal best of 57:33!
The conditions were absolutely hideous – freezing cold, pouring with rain and relentless wind, but I kept thinking about why I was running and everyone who has supported me. That carried me through.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single person who donated, messaged and encouraged me. Your support genuinely made a difference out there.
And a very special thank you to my incredible running coach and friend Louise. Her belief in me, the training plans and the support paid off. I couldn’t have done it without her.
Running in memory of Teneisha, Gary and Belinda kept me going and I knew they were with me every step of the way ❤️

Hello wonderful friends and family!
This year, I’m taking part in the 10K Winter Run on 15th February for the fourth time.
Cancer has taken some truly special people from my life. Just over six years ago, I lost my dear friend Teneisha and my cousin Gary, and then four years ago my lovely friend and colleague Belinda. I’m running in their memory, knowing they’ll be with me every step of the way.
I’m hoping to raise £500 for Cancer Research UK, and any donation big or small would mean so much. Every penny helps in the fight against this disease.
