My 10k Journey: Fighting Back After 5 Years


"Most of you know that the fight against cancer is incredibly personal to me. Five years ago, I faced my own cancer diagnosis, and tragically, I also lost my father to this disease.
Having seen the impact of cancer from both sides, I am more determined than ever to help find a cure. That is why I am back for my fourth year running the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, but the more money we raise, the more life-saving research can be done. Research is the only way we can finally stop this horrible disease from taking our loved ones. In 2025, Cancer Research UK continued to fund breakthroughs that are helping 2 in 4 people survive, but their goal is to reach 3 in 4 by 2040.
I’m braving the cold on Sunday, 15th February 2026, to help reach that goal. Please sponsor me if you can—no matter how little, every single penny will help.
