what an experience ....!!! no words ... so let's leave it there ! ... Until next year :)  

Enjoyed every single minute even though weather was freezing rainy cold.... wrrrr

12hours to the start .... :)

well well well..... few hours sleep and early morning to ensure on time arrival to rainy London :) 
Will try to take some photos and record couple videos to capture all the attractions on the way .... we shall see how it goes. 
Great to be part of a bigger initiative to support great cause Cancer Research UK! 
Having Richard and Aly running with me will add to the experience for sure! after all they got me into this epic adventure - run LOL

running gear? TICK!

only 36 hours till the run!!! that is why I have decided to get my gear ready :) Apparently it is a good practice to ensure the right equipment is nicely prepared and waiting for the mission! so I have done exactly that ! LOL
ps. London weather forecast .... 90% rain ..... still ready ready ready! positive thinking >>>> activated. Will be cooled down by London rain water during intense high speed run (haha).... Perhaps should change my target to 'finish in top 10' not top 20??? :) 

wow 9K!!!!!!!! for real :)

..... really should say no comment as the title says it all! For most people out there, it's not most extraordinary achievement running 9K after 5 weeks of training, however for me it's massive! :) happy happy happy with today's, especially as never panned running this far today .... was looking to complete 8k perhaps...!? 
Ps. have called in Aly and Richard (the running Team) for the final 100merts which was out of blue as they never knew I was running :) 
NEXT SUNDAY .... WINTER 10K RUN! we are coming !!!!! let's go!!!  

5k in rain and cold with the TEAM!!!

After many long debates and active weather monitoring, we have done it! Planned long time ago as a Team... Against the traffic, rain, wind and over massive muddy paddles. ...today finally done.... 5K run :) Together :) ... My running Mentors (them to made me to signed up for this crazy 10k challenge) shared more insights of what to expect while in London. Very helpful .... Also it's the second biggest team run i've ever made ! first one was week ago with Simon :) 
So .... not ready yet , but looking forward to the next Sunday!!! :) let's goooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

starting kit arrived :)!!!!

OMG! it's happening ..... The kit arrived yesterday! Only to remind me it's 14 days to the very 10K run in the centre of London.... Well, bring it on!!!! let's go! ;) 

7K baby!!!!!!!!!!!1 :)

get in! yes yes yes ... another epic Saturday with great weather and decent temperature! and another milestone achieved which is 7K!!!! Had my neighbour Simon to join the run which helped a lot! 
Two weeks to the big fat event and 10K challenge!  

arrived!!!!!!!!!! :)

yes!!! arrived today.... the shoes which will assist my effort on the 15th! Will give them a test this weekend ... so exciting! 
Not long time till the run day so full focus! :) ps. would be great to loose like 10kg beforehand , but will pushforward regardless LOL 

Rest day... kind of... :)

no running on Sunday! rest day! .... which did not stop me from gym session :) Interestingly enough ... while driving to the leisure centre I saw many runners who regardless bad rainy and cold weather were still on a mission to simply RUN! Impressive and positively empowering! One day i shall run in the rain haha ... maybe... just maybe ... :) 

6k Saturday!!! first time ever!

OMG epic run !!!! 6k first time since teenager !!! feeling great as nicely paced run with a personal coach ! Had my son on a bike to motivate, clear the way and ensure water supplies :)

Well ... why am I doing it ? would be easy to say ... middle age crisis, but I am too young for it. Perhaps, to impress friends and family...? nah .. boring, everybody knows I am 'impressive' (in my mind). Yes, fitness and healthy living! nope... that's not that one neither. 
The truth is simple, there them two British Lads who made me do it and sign up! Tricked me into mission impossible to think about 10k run in LONDON! I supposed to be smart enough to know it's a brutal mission they planned for me LOL So that's the reason why I am in London Winter Run challenge :) 
Will give more details about them assassins ..... so watch the space :) 
for now whoever reading the post , please donate towards Cancer Research Charity! ps. i ma hoping there is a pot for emergency services on the day to assist people like me who hardly run.... haha :)
