It isn’t just a run
Each year, I take part in the London Winter Run 10k, but this run means much more to me than just the distance.
Eleven years ago, I lost my mum to cancer — a loss that has stayed with me and one that so many people sadly understand. I’m running in her memory, and for everyone who has been affected by cancer, whether directly or through someone they love.
Cancer research is vital. It helps drive earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and real hope for the future. While there is still so much to do, progress is only possible because of continued support and funding.
By supporting my run, you’re helping to fund life-saving research and bringing us one step closer to a world where cancer no longer takes the people we love too soon. Any donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.
Thank you for helping me honour my mum’s memory and for supporting this incredibly important cause. 💙
