Cancer is relentess. But so are we.

Hot time at the Big Half

My first big race of the autumn season, when the weather is meant to be more comfortable for running, was the Big Half in London on Sunday 7 September. It turned out to be a very hot affair with the temperature rising to 25 degrees! Nevertheless, I made it in my third fastest time of 2:09:32 and came third (out of 19) in my age category. Great support from the crowds.

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.

Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 23rd February 2026.

Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.

Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.
