Post-run update:
Thank you all for your amazing support.  I am very proud to say that I ran 11 minutes faster than last year and moved up 1,000 places in the rankings.  The worst part was afterwards having to stay in absolutely soaking wet clothes for 2+ hours, not pleasant, but all in all, a great run.

This will be my 3rd London Winter Run 10k and as I was running the last one I noticed how many people were fundraising and running in memory of loved ones which inspired me to do the same.  So I am going to run the 2026 run in memory of my dad (Peter), mum (Joyce) and sister (Bridget) and am hoping that I can make a small difference by raising funds for Cancer Research UK towards the great work they are doing.
Please, if you are able to, sponsor me and help fund the charity's life-saving work into the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.
