Thought I would go far this morning having been inspired by the force of nature that is Wonder Woman Sara Cox! But had to keep stopping to de-snot so it was slow….Argh!
No running this weekend due to an eye op! Gutted! And something weird has definitely happened to me as I forgot to ask the dr whether I can have a drink this weekend but I did ask whether I can run!! Sadly the answer was no, so a enforced gap in training but will be back on it next week…Entered my first 10k
Having started running in Feb, just to see if I could, I have actually found myself really enjoying it and embracing the challenge to run further each time. Next year will be 25 years since my incredible mum passed away, only 2 years older than I am now, so it seems a fitting time to put my running to good use - I have not signed up “for her”, but I have signed up to raise money in her memory, to help reduce the number of wonderful people like my mum that we lose to cancer.
