I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated. I’m completely overwhelmed by your generosity.
To say the race was hard is an understatement. The weather was less than ideal, I was soaked before even starting the race. I didn’t have my EarPods and got separated from my running buddy early on. But….. I powered through, dug deep and kept putting one foot in front of the other.
Crossing that finish line felt incredible. I’m so proud of what I achieved and somehow I even recorded my fastest time ever (who knew torrential rain could be a secret weapon!) Thank you all again for your amazing support.
My first 10K race
I decided to enter this race to challenge myself and to raise money for a worthwhile cause at the same time. I haven’t run this distance before, so I’m hoping the atmosphere and determination will get me through. Please donate whatever you can. Every little helps.My Achievements
