Sweet Treat Half Marathon
Sunday the 17th, my friends Serena and Shay invited to their friends sweet treat half marathon… it wasn’t sweet.Everyone knows I don’t run but this was just a bit of fun to see what new people I meet and socialise! It took us 4:19 to do the whole event with 5 stints and 4 stops. The last stint was 2k where we hit 3:50/km pace!!!
4 stints, 3.4km + 4.9km + 5.9km +
5.5km + 1.7km = 21.4km
How I’m going to train…
As people may know, I am a swimmer. I’ve done my fair share of Friday morning 5ks or Thursday morning runs followed by coffee with a dear friend. But this will be differentMy run will solely be ran by training in the pool and gym work. A challenge in itself.
I am currently a VIVOBAREFOOT wearer but considering the Adidas EVO SL as my choice of footwear…
