Why am I running!
I am doing the cancer research 10k Winter run On the 15th of February which would have been my father’s 92nd birthday. He died of pancreatic cancer last August so I am running To celebrate his long life and to raise money for those whose lives should be longer.Am I an Athlete yet?
I spent the whole of December with a cold and as an asthmatic that isn’t terribly helpful with my training, but I’ve kept at it and I am determined to do the 10 K on Dad‘s birthday the 15th of February. I doubt it will be very fast, but as long as I complete it, I will be happy.I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.
