If you told me this time last year that I’d be running 10k, I wouldn't have believed it. Back then, I hadn't even completed Couch to 5K (the second attempt). I'm now running the 10K Winter Run on 15 February 2026 to raise money for a great cause - Cancer Research. I’m doing it in memory of Elaine and Uncle Nigel, two incredible people taken far too soon by cancer.Cancer Research UK is doing vital work, from funding life-saving treatments to supporting early detection and prevention.
If you can spare even a couple of pounds, it would mean so much! Every donation counts and gets us closer to a future where cancer doesn’t take the people we love.
