Cancer is relentess. But so are we. 

Why I am taking part in the London Winter Run 2026

Most of us have lost people we loved and cared about to cancer. I am no stranger to the devastating impact this dreadful disease has on people's lives. 

Sadly, I have lost cherished family members and some wonderful shipmates (friends) over the years. So earlier this year, I decided that in 2026, I am going to complete the London Winter Run to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 

I enjoy running, but by completing this run I know I will be helping make a difference, in supporting a charity that is dedicated to saving and improving lives through research, influence and information. 

Any donation you can offer will make a big difference and help Cancer Research UK continue their pioneering work.
