Cancer is relentess. But so are we. 

less than 24 hrs to go

Arrived in London and have done a bit of sightseeing.  Maybe going to do a bit of retail therapy.  All ready for the race although a little nervous but just going to enjoy the day and not worry about time 

2 weeks to go

So only two weeks to go.  Had to take a week off due to a virus but back on it now even if my legs and body don't want to.

Getting excited now and finally know my wave colour.  I'm in green 🙌


4 weeks

Time is passing and now in final month to go.  Starting to feeling a little bit scared as 1st time doing event of this size.  Can't believe there are 26k taking part but will be an amazing atmosphere.

Trying to get my Km's in now and follow the training plan. 

Have done a few 10kms now so feeling comfortable about the distance

So on track with my training plan and building up my endurance.

Getting back to running has been great and is now part of my routine.  A year ago I would never imagined being able to run let alone running 10k

Now got 3 10k under my belt and feeling good about completing the run in February 

jumped in

So I have been looking at this race for a little while trying to make the decision to sign up.  I am new back to running recently following making so life changes.  I started with Couch to 5k and the doing Park runs.  Having tried a couple of 10k runs wanted to commit to my 1st race.  So here we are on the final day of registration taking the leap to sign up for the race and to support an amazing charity which is close to my heart ❤️
