Running for Dad
Dad passed away at Easter 2023 after a distressing but (in hindsight) thankfully short battle with the effects of mesothelioma, an aggressive lung cancer related to exposure to asbestos.I'm running in his memory - which doesn't fade, the grief just fades slightly as time goes by replaced by gratitude that he lived as good a life as he wished - and for all those others who's life has been touched one way or another by those conditions we call cancer but which covers such a wide range of different illnesses and causes.
