London Winter Run Complete! ✅
There’s no doubting winter was in full flow for today’s London Winter Run! Temperatures only just above freezing, wind, rain and sleet are certainly not my preferred conditions but they added to the authenticity if nothing else! Having suffered a toe injury earlier in the week, my participation was in doubt leading up to today. However, given all of the very generous fundraising that you have all very kindly donated to, I was determined to complete the run today. The total raised currently stands at £600.40 which is amazing! This really will help CRUK continuing their research to help people live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. Thank you so much for all of your incredible support 💜£500 fundraising target reached!

Your generous donations received so far was the motivation needed to get back running. Having only been for a run twice since completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April, the drop off in fitness was definitely noticeable, however I was pleased to complete 5km today which can now be used as a base to build on!£300 target reached!
Wow. We’ve reached the £300 target in just 3 days! This puts us in the top 35 participant fundraisers so far! Having reached the initial fundraising target so quickly, I have increased this to £500.
