Cancer research’s impact
Cancer has affected so many lives, including my own. I’ve lost many family members to this devastating disease, but I’ve also experienced immense pride and hope through my mum, who has shown incredible strength, battling cancer, beating it twice, and now unfortunately having to bravely face it again.
Taking part in this 10k for Cancer Research UK is both a personal fitness goal as I’ve never been a runner and an emotional journey. It’s a way to remember those we’ve lost, celebrate survivors, and help create a future where fewer families have to face the devastation of cancer.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund vital research and brings hope to those currently fighting this disease. Clinical trials, in particular, have made a deeply personal difference to my family.
