Why am I running for UK Cancer Research on Sunday 15th February?

Nowadays it is rare not to have a cancer case in our family or in our immediate social circle. One out of two of us is likely to suffer from cancer in our life time.

Huge progress has been made in prevention, early detection and improving survival rates. There is an urgent need for high-impact breakthroughs, though, and research plays a key role in it.

We also have to play our part in reducing the number cancer cases by adopting healthier lifestyle habits.

So what better way to contribute to both, research and healthy habits, than running in the cold winter of London while raising funds for UK Cancer research!

Alberto and I are raising funds to support Cancer Research by running the London Winter Run on Sunday 15th February.
