Hello friends!

This February, I’m taking part in the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run and have decided to actually do something useful alongside chasing a PB, giving meaning to my cumbersome 5am plods and grueling interval sessions. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

I’ve decided to take on this challenge in honour of my fabulous mother who was diagnosed with GIST in December 2021. Luckily, she had treatment for it and has been doing exceedingly well since. She is an incredibly strong and brave person who inspires me every day. A trooper, really.

Her triumph over the illness wouldn’t have been possible without the work of charities like Cancer Research UK, that are funding the research into the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer. I’ve pledged to raise £175 for them, so if you’re feeling generous and charitable in the New Year, this is your sign to do something good. All donations go directly to Cancer Research UK to aid them in the incredible work they do for better treatments, better outcomes and hope for the future.
