Massive thank you to everyone who sponsored, supported, and cheered me on for the London Winter Run on 15th February, raising money for Cancer Research UK.
I honestly raised more than I hoped for and I’m so grateful to everyone.
It was a very tough day - freezing cold, raining 🌧️ , and soggy from start to finish. My lips were blue by the end, and my trainers still have a lovely brown tinge from all the puddles 😅 But somehow, I managed a PB of 53:31, which I am absolutely over the moon with.
Getting that PB was for my grandad, who we sadly lost to pancreatic cancer in November. That made it mean more than anything, especially with the weather being what it was and not expecting a personal best at all.
Thank you again for helping me turn a hard day into something incredibly special. Your generosity, messages, and encouragement truly carried me round that course 🩵🏃♀️
For my Grandad
I will be running the Cancer Research London Winter Run 2026 in memory of my lovely Grandad who died of Pancreatic Cancer on 28th November 2025.I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.
