Running for my Mum 💙
Earlier this year, my mum was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer after months of investigations and is currently undergoing an intense treatment plan of both chemo and radiotherapy. Her bravery and positivity throughout weeks of severe pain and sickness from the treatment has been so inspiring - even making a few jokes here and there to various medical staff and friends and family.
I wanted to do something small in support as she gets over the finish line! During this time, I’ve connected with so many families going through similar battles and it has been so eye opening to what life with cancer is like and although the treatment available is amazing in my mums case, it can be such a tough journey. Cancer touches so many lives and every contribution, big or small, helps drive progress and improve treatments. Thank you to everyone who has supported my family through this time and for those who choose to contribute. It means the world.
I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.
