I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2027.

Hi everyone!

I've signed up to take part in the London Winter Run on 21st February 2027, where I'll be running 10k to raise money for Cancer Research UK! 🏃‍♀️

Having experienced the impact of cancer through family members' diagnoses, I've seen first-hand just how much it can change someone's life, not only for the person going through it but for everyone around them too. It's a cause that means a lot to me, and I want to do something positive to help make a difference.

This isn’t my first run, and it certainly won't be my last, but this one has a little extra meaning behind it! ❤️

I'm aiming to raise £175 for Cancer Research UK, helping to support the incredible research they do to improve treatments, save lives and give more families hope for the future.

To put into perspective just how much donations can help, here are a few examples of what your support could go towards:

🔬 £20 could buy antibiotics to keep the cells studied by Cancer Research UK's scientists free from infections.
📸 8 people donating £50 each could fund a microscope camera, allowing scientists to capture images of cancer cells and share them with researchers around the world.
🧪 5 people donating £75 each could buy a hotplate used by scientists to warm solutions during important research.
🧬 3 people donating £150 each could fund a whole-genome sequencing experiment, helping scientists understand changes in DNA linked to cancer.

Over the past 50 years, Cancer Research UK's work has helped double cancer survival rates in the UK, and continued research is so important in helping more people and families in the future.
