Cancer is relentess. But so are we. 

Running for Cancer Research

I will be once again taking part in the Winter Run in London next February in honour of my dad, Giuseppe, who tragically passed away a little over a year ago at such a young age, after a 4 year battle with lung cancer. I continue to be inspired by his strength and positivity through it all and try my best to make him proud every day. I started running a year ago for this event specifically and have continued ever since, so I am looking forward to taking part again. 
This year I will be raising funds and running alongside my friend Mattia, who also has a personal connection to this cause. 

Mattia Caprin:
I will be taking part in the Cancer Research Winter Run to support a cause that is close to me as my mother, Maria, fought breast cancer a few years ago, but is fortunately doing well after a year of intensive treatment. Watching her go through those battles changed the way I see strength and resilience, and running this race is my way of honouring her journey and standing with all the families who have been affected by cancer. 

Every step of these 10km is a reminder of how crucial research is, as well as the funds that make it possible. By joining this event we want to contribute, even in a small way, to a future where more people get the chance to beat cancer. 
We are extremely grateful to everyone that decides to donate to our page and helps us raise vital funds for such a good cause.
