Hello! Namaste! I’m Dorothy Dewan, a scientist by profession👩🏻🔬, who once found freedom and strength in running; the pure joy of moving under my own power, without relying on anyone else. But as life moved fast, I let that part of me quietly slip away.
Then on a quiet summer’s day☀️, a warm, gentle soul sparked something in me I thought I'd lost. It reminded me of the simple peace found in solitude. And just like that, I found myself returning to the rhythm of the run, step by step.
Almost all of us know someone touched by cancer. So this winter, I’m taking on my first 10km race - not just a journey back to rediscovering my strength but to support Cancer Research UK, whose work turns today’s efforts into tomorrow’s survival stories.
So let’s move forward together! Running for those who can’t, with those who can. 🏃🏻♀️➡️
