Cancer is relentess. But so are we.

Hundreds and Thousands

There are hundreds and thousands of reasons to raise money for cancer research and I'd like to tell you about the ones closest to me.

Reason number one

Marvellous Maggie was diagnosed this time last year with acute myloid leukemia. She spent 6 months as an inpatient at Barts Hospital enduring 4 gruelling rounds of intense chemotherapy. During this time she saw runners completing the 2025 Winter Run. She's now in remission being closely monitored including painful bone marrow biopsies every three months.

Reason number two

Is my brave and beautiful sister who has been handling cancer since 2017. Jenny has had radiotherapy,  chemotherapy and numerous operations and has remained positive and good natured throughout her treatment.. Jenny is the youngest of four sisters and we have always said that if you take on one of us you take on us all.... so we are doing everything we can to support Jenny and Cancer Research. Jenny is being supported by her husband and dog and the three of them go on many adventures between her treatments. Cancer is formidable but so is Jenny so please donate whatever you can to help our cause.

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.

Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 15th February 2026.

Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.

Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.
