Less than one month to go!
It's now less than a month to go before I run my first 10k - the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2026.
Three months ago I didn't run at all - but wanted to set myself a challenge for a good cause in the new year. With the encouragement of my wife Ilektra who is also taking part, I'm running just over 4k non-stop and really loving it.
It's been difficult, and not without my personal wobbles, but I'm sure that's nothing compared to the challenges faced by people with cancer - which nearly 1 in 2 people* will get in their lifetime.
I'm doing this for all of them, and for those dear to me who have been affected.
